One of the most overlooked and important roles in a direct mail firm is the job of production manager. It takes grit, perseverance, and incredible attention to detail to effectively execute a production and delivery schedule - and Chris Judd is recognized as one of the best in the business.
Many direct mail firms produce good concept, copy, and art, but very few employ a full time production manager who tracks every piece of mail from conception to delivery. Having produced and delivered millions of pieces of political mail, on budget and on time, Mr. Judd has used his experience to help The Campaign Network refine its mail delivery techniques and increase its production capabilities and capacity. This past year, he instituted a sophisticated, state-of-the-art, online collaborative work space that enables his production team to work in "near-time" to coordinate all aspects of the mail delivery process.
Mr. Judd is well known to postal liaisons across the country, communicating with them daily during election season to coordinate the complicated details that allow timely deliver of The Campaign Network's clients' mail. Whether it's navigating between the Democratic National Committee legal team, the State Party, the print and mailhouses, in the '04 presidential campaign or coordinating between artists, copywriters, pollsters, and caucus directors in last year's legislative races… Chris has always come through, never losing his cool, displaying patience and determination to get the job done.
Originally from Oklahoma, Chris graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Ozarks in Arkansas with a degree in political science. He works in The Campaign Network's Boston Headquarters. When he's not managing intricate production schedules, he cheers for the Patriots, Red Sox, and his beloved Oklahoma Sooners.
