Afiyah Harrigan is a savvy and experienced Democratic political operative who has worked numerous campaigns on the federal, state and municipal level.
Born and raised in the Harlem section of New York City, Afiyah attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science. She went on to the State University of New York at Buffalo where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with three Bachelorís Degrees in English, Legal Studies and Political Science.
Afiyah has attended several campaign and government training programs including the Initiative for Diversity in Civic Leadership and the Commonwealth Seminar. She is responsible for organizing and implementing numerous successful voter registration drives, empowering thousands of people in communities of color to vote.
In addition to her campaign experience, Afiyah has worked in Senator Charles Schumer's office as well as in the Clinton Foundation Chief of Staff's office.
